You'll need a valid automobile driver's license or learner's permit, and have the ability to ride a bicycle. Once you have registered, you MUST complete an online portion prior to your first day of class! A link will be sent to your email 30 days prior to your class start date.
DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL GEAR?
You'll need to bring the following:
A heavy, long-sleeve shirt or jacket
Jeans, chaps, or leather pants
Over-the-ankle, sturdy footwear
A helmet that meets DOT requirements
Must pass with an 80%
If Failed - option to retest following morning prior to Range. If another fail, reschedule for next available class.
Must pass within State/MSF score guidelines.
Retest - if chosen, student must complete within 30 days of original test date. Student will have a warm up exercise and then retest. There will be no reruns except for exercises 3 & 4 as per MSF.
Retest failed - Option 1 - one on one to improve skills and then go into the next available class Must retake online eCourse if beyond 30 days on the certificate. Complete course attendance is required.
Retest failed - Option 2 - Go directly into another class and must complete attendance. Re take online eCourse if beyond 30 days on certificate.
If the second class is not passed, student will not be able to attend a third class at no charge. The second class must be within 90 days of the original class to be taken at no charge.
SKILLED RIDER COURSE – WHAT TO EXPECT
Designed solely for experienced riders, this eight-hour 1-day course is taught by dedicated Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) and H-D Certified Coaches.
You’ll learn advanced tips and techniques to help you own the road
Control at low speeds
Swerving and stopping quickly on straights and in curves
Multiple curve maneuvers and surmounting objects
When you’re done, you’ll not only ride with more confidence than ever, you’ll earn an MSF Basic RiderCourseSM 2 Completion Card that may qualify you for a discount on motorcycle insurance.
